Tannian

Period features, wonderful interiors and garden, stone built. Located 13 miles form Bath.

Tannian is a large stone built former workhouse which is now a wonderful home situated in the most iconic medieval village in England. The gorgeous warm stone of the house, outbuildings, shop and workshop make for a stunning property with interesting opportunities in the outbuildings, potting shed and gardens – wonderful for any lifestyle brands and never having been used for filming or photoshoots before. 

Inside has been thoughtfully decorated and includes exposed beams, brick and wood floors, wood doors, large fireplaces and leaded light windows. The property has an Aga, as well as Belfast sinks and historic furniture and fittings throughout. There are particularly lovely bedrooms and living room. There is also a workshop and two shops (gifts and jewellery) on site which would be useful for filming. 

Outdoors, the house is surrounded large private gardens with lovely seating areas, dry stone walls, lawns and gravel, with roses climbing the walled areas and pretty planting. The outbuildings are spectacular and would be fabulous for a lifestyle or countryside clothing shoot, with stone and wood steps, glass house, potting shed and more. 

The owners beloved classic car is also available – this immaculate Triumph TR2 is perfect in cream with red leather interior and chrome wire wheels and looks wonderful parked in the grounds. 

Tannian does have two bed and breakfast rooms available for shoot and stays which are very popular and would need to be booked in advance. The surrounding village is very picturesque and has a plethora of amenities including pubs, restaurants, hotels and other accommodation.
