Swigan is a picture perfect Cornish stone cottage situated in a quiet village on an estuary. Inside you are immediately transported into a calm and restful state, this delightful home has been thoughtfully restored and designed to exude tranquillity, each perfectly considered room would be wonderful for any lifestyle brands, homewares and apparel.

Despite its low ceilings and cottage dimensions the space feels light and airy. There are stone walls, period features such as a large granite fireplace with wood burner, pretty windows and beams throughout. 

Outdoors, the cottage is surrounded by gravelled and slated gardens with lovely seating areas and stone steps into the hillside.

The surrounding village is very picturesque and would be fabulous for extending a lifestyle shoot into the immediate areas which have wonderful bridges over pretty streams, waterfalls, lovely stone cottages and buildings and a rather fabulous village shop, pub, tidal estuary with marina and boats, and far reaching hilly countryside views.  

Swigan would be a wonderful place for a shoot and stay with two king-size bedrooms and a third bedroom with bunk beds.

History and special interest

Swigan is not listed despite its age of over 200 years, and was once two cottages which has been sympathetically knocked into one to create a delightful home.
