Stanbryce

Stunning converted barns amidst an historic Wiltshire farming landscape

A substantial predominantly arable farm with gorgeous converted barns, wonderful land, and views across the ancient landscape.

Period features, beautifully designed interiors, courtyard gardens, world heritage site, gorgeous views, land, and buildings. Located 10 miles from Swindon.

Stanbryce is an outstanding farm, nestled in the hills of the Neolithic landscape of the World Heritage Site in Wiltshire. The modernised Georgian farmhouse, wonderful barn conversions, events spaces, professional kitchen and luxury holiday lets have all been curated perfectly around a central courtyard garden with gorgeous planting and secluded dining and relaxing areas, with swimming pool and its own standing stone!.

The interiors of both the farmhouse and the holiday lets are finished to the highest luxury standards, and have been beautifully designed with an amazing attention to detail. Full of architectural interest, period features with exposed beams, brick and stone walls and perfectly furnished - any countryside, furniture, interior, homeware and clothing brand would look absolutely wonderful here, with each conversion (there are six currently) having a slightly different look and feel all with lovely bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchens.

The events space is huge with fabulous facilities and would lend itself well to any party, launch, wellness retreat or workshop and there are plenty of bedrooms available for shoot and stays for brands too. Onsite catering is also available, making larger multi day shoots, retreats and filming simple and easy.

Outside the conversions the beautifully kept courtyard garden would be fabulous for any garden furniture or outdoor brands. There are also vast amounts of unconverted pretty brick built barns and stables, large modern farm buildings etc and more rustic spaces. There is a lovely wooden playground which would be fabulous for children’s brands, alongside children’s spaces in the conversions themselves.

The land is accessible via winding tracks with huge vistas over farmed fields with ancient beech clumps in wooded valleys with views to Silbury Hill and West Kennet Long Barrow. This romantic setting has huge potential for brand shoots as well as filming and would be wonderful for retreats.

History and special interest

Stanbryce is located in the historically important and protected World Heritage site that encompasses the Neolithic landscape around Stonehenge, Avebury, Silbury Hill, and West Kennet Long Barrow.

Stanbryce is Grade II listed and has been farmed by the same family since 1922.  The current owners take their custodianship of these ancient lands very seriously, protecting it for future generations.
