Pawena
A pretty thatched Dorset cottage with delightful cottage gardens, shepherds hut, and studio space

Period features, beautifully designed interior, wonderful gardens, pretty and peaceful location. Located 9 miles from Dorchester.
Originally a pair of beautiful thatched 18th century cottages, Pawena is now one family home. It sits in wonderful cottage gardens where white peacocks, doves and chickens roam alongside the two miniature Shetlands.
Inside there are exposed brick and original timber walls, fireplaces with original bread ovens and beams. The large kitchen and dining room space with the Aga is a wonderful room and would be perfect for brand shoots, alongside the lovely tongue and grooved utility / boot room, with period paintwork, butler sinks, wooden worktops and fabrics. The dining and sitting rooms are beautifully decorated, the playroom would be great for any children’s brand.
Outside the garden is wild and textured, there are 5 acres of garden, track and paddock. There is a wisteria tunnel, a greenhouse, small orchard and an original style shepherds hut which is large and has no internal fittings aside from a stove. There is a large self-contained studio space which would be fabulous for workshops or day retreats.
The cottage would be so wonderful for any lifestyle or countryside brands, or small workshops or retreats. All animals are available if required!
