A magical Buckinghamshire meadow filled with wild flowers

A wonderful wild field with incredible views. Located 10 miles from Bicester.

A glorious paddock with naturalised lupins in an array of colours as well as, buttercups, cow parsley and oxeye daisies. The paddock has far reaching countryside views to the south east across arable fields and woodland. The gradient of the meadow allows for some fantastic sunrises across the broad skyline it looks out to.

Flowering Season: The lupins start to bloom in early May (odd ones at first) and are typically in full bloom from around mid to late May. Their peak is around the very end of May / first week of June.

The lupins are initially set off against the striking lush green grass in late May and early June and then soften through June as the grasses dry out by which point the oxeye daisies are bobbing amongst them and give a lovely effervescence. The Lupins fade by around mid June when the meadow has a different, softer feel with only very few lupins left but an abundance of oxeye daisies, buttercups and long dry grasses.

The lodge on site is also available to shoot or use as a green room.
