Flintmere is a large manorial estate, encompassing many acres of pasture, parkland and woodlands, estate cottages and houses, with Windermere frontage as well as the private lake (with boathouse) huge walled garden, lovely private roads and paths, all with breathtaking views of the stunning Cumbria landscape. 

Inside, the core of the house is Elizabethan and has been extended in subsequent centuries into a sprawling home, largely untouched by modernity and wonderfully historic in feel. There is a vast range of bedrooms and bathrooms, all in pristine historic condition with fireplaces, wallpapers, four poster beds and furnishings in keeping, it would be amazing for any kind of historic film, and fabulous for retreats.

The grand downstairs rooms would work brilliantly for workshops, gatherings, wellness retreats and more, and the kitchen has been thoughtfully and elegantly updated with large Aga, huge island unit and large table which would be perfect for kitchen brands, and cookery demonstrations. The large and well equipped pantry area just off it would make large scale catering here a breeze. French doors from the kitchen lead out to the gorgeous terrace, again wonderful for dining as a group. 

Outdoors, the grounds surrounding the house are perfection with sweeping lawns, terraces, mature planting and plenty of spaces to sit and relax with plenty of areas amongst the flower beds, statues, sundials etc for privacy or group activities. A little further from the house is a Dutch garden with seating, and further still parkland and fields with pathways and driveways to the further estate. Wellness, garden or outdoor brands, workshops, demonstrations, and filming would all do very well here. 

The wider estate has a huge Victorian walled garden, many other houses, farms and cottages, woodlands, farmland, private lake with boathouse, as well as access to Windermere itself, and a gorgeous wild shepherd's hut sauna.
