Ealand

A wonderful stone farmhouse and outbuildings in stunning landscape on Anglesey

Ealand – a wonderful stone farmhouse and outbuildings in 8 acres of naturally stunning landscape on Anglesey.

Period features, stone built, cabin, stables, farm buildings, stunning views. Located 6 miles from Holyhead.

Ealand is a wonderful Welsh stone and slate farmhouse dating back to the 1750s. Set in 8 acres of land with 360 degree views over towards Eryri, Snowdonia, and the Lleyn Peninsula, round to Holyhead Mountain. Cymyran Beach and the Inland Sea, and Cymyran Strait are all in walking distance and look phenomenal from the grounds.

The main farmhouse has been sympathetically restored in keeping with the character and all the original stone outbuildings that remain would provide a characterful backdrop for any shoot. It is complete with Belfast sinks, tiled floors, woodburners and original doors and period features throughout.

In the grounds you can find a wonderful old granary, paddocks, fields, outbuildings, workshop and stable, along with a well (non-functioning) and old pig pens. Free range chickens which can be out or in, and the border collie are optional as well as the 1958 unrestored Massey Ferguson tractor and a lot of horse tack and old Shetland pony saddles. There is an old typewriter, old vacuum cleaner, old manual sheep shearer, anvil, and more which would set the scene for any historic film or shoot very well indeed.

A beautiful modern cabin in the paddock sleeps two for a shoot and stay, and is prettily furnished throughout.
