Cielde

An ancient stone manor house with lovely accommodation, gardens, grounds, gypsy caravans, yurt and more in Somerset

Period features throughout, Tudor hall, wonderful accommodation, gardens, woodlands, yurt, gypsy caravan, kitchen gardens, stream and fields.  Located 6 miles from Ilminster.

Cielde is a wonderful Tudor stone manor house, with amazing period features including a huge hall with open inglenook fireplace and bread oven.

The wider estate has beautiful accommodation in the old lodge and stables, all thoughtfully renovated into gorgeous restful spaces with large airy bedrooms and lovely traditional bathrooms. The main house would be wonderful for photoshoots and filming, and would be particularly fabulous for festive campaigns with huge beams, wonderful windows and flag stone floors.

The additional accommodation would be great for any type of retreat, with wonderful interior spaces for writing, wellness and yoga; they are traditionally and invitingly furnished following their recent restoration. The kitchens would be lovely for retreats or small workshops, as well as lifestyle brands.

Outside in the grounds there are woodland retreat areas, for wellness and ceremonial use, as well as gathering and outdoor cooking. An outdoor wild swimming pool, yurt and gypsy caravans means Cielde is beautifully set up for outdoor activities of all varieties.

Also on site are wonderful wild woodlands, lawns, meadows, orchard and kitchen gardens, with chickens, pigs, goats and a small flock of sheep who all meander in picture perfect fields with a stream running through.

Cielde can accommodate larger groups and would be perfect for shoot and stays and retreats and workshops. The owners can arrange treatments, therapies, catering and more from trusted local suppliers and would be happy to discuss your requirements.
