Beamflet
Large Hertfordshire estate with historic properties, gardens, farmland, rivers and private roads
Beamflet is a large and diverse 400 acre estate which genuinely offers something for everyone. Set in a wonderful rural location close to Hertford and therefore handy for any London teams and easily accessible for the rest of the UK; with an abundance of wonderful spaces in a gorgeous natural environment. Given the scale of this location please do call if you would like any further information as there are too many special places to list here in full.
In brief then, the interior spaces include some wonderful houses, from grand light Georgian houses to converted and unconverted barns, workshops, event space, stables and other farm buildings. There are lovely period farmhouses, lodge houses and other estate cottages. Some of these are available as accommodation, and would make for stunning retreat venues, including any wellness, writing, or cookery, as well as making a wonderful base for nature photography in the incredible grounds, or as a base for cast and crew for shoot and stays.
The park and estate contains areas of wonderful ancient woodland, with some trees over 500 years old. There are formal gardens and walled gardens, orchards, paddocks, wildflower fields, valleys, lakes, rivers and chalk streams. There is a pretty masonry bridge, weir, an iron footbridge, and a lovely wooden boat dock amongst the wetlands and lakes to name but a few. There is an array of wildlife including herons, kingfishers and barn owls.
Beamflet estate also has some unique features that are of particular interest including a now private disused A road, wonderful for any automotive shoot!
Beamflet has ample accommodation for brand shoot and stays or retreats.
